The Ministry of Health has reported that the number of corona infections in the country has increased to 4067. In the last 24 hours, 693 cases have been reported. So far 291 people have been cured.

So far 109 people have died, 30 people have died on Sunday. So far, 1445 Corona patients are associated with Tablighi Jamaat. The Union Health Ministry has rejected Corona’s claims of community infection (Stage 3). It has been said that local transmission in an area cannot be called community transmission.

In the press conference, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Luv Agarwal said that 76 percent of the cases of corona infection reported so far in the country are men and 24 percent are women. So far 73 per cent of those killed are men, while 27 per cent of the dead are women.

The Health Ministry said that according to age, 47 per cent of the patients are under 40 years of age. 34% of the patients are 40 to 60 years old. 19 percent of the patients are over 60 years of age. 63 percent of deaths occurred in people over 60 years of age. 30 percent of the dead are aged between 40 and 60 years. 7% of the patients who lost their lives are below 40 years of age.

Corona doctors advise to take medicine
The Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health said that hydroxychloroquine has been asked to take only those health workers who are involved in the treatment of corona patients or are in high risk. There is not much evidence yet for its effect. There is not enough evidence to use it at the community level yet.

25 thousand accumulated quarantine
It was informed by the Ministry of Home Affairs that the workers of Tabligi Jamaat and more than 25 thousand people who came in contact with them have been quarantined. 5 villages have been sealed in Haryana. Of the 2083 foreigners associated with the Tablighi Jamaat, 1750 have been blacklisted.

Order of 5 Lakh Rapid Test Kit
ICMR was informed that 5 lakh rapid test kits have been ordered. 2.50 lakh of these kits will be delivered by 8-9 date.

More than 700 cases in Maharashtra
